Day 1:
Cape Town You are met and welcomed to Cape Town at Cape Town International flight by one of our representatives who will meet you off your flight and transfer you by road to your hotel in the city centre.
4 Nights at Cape Town Hollow (mountain facing room) on a bed and breakfast basis
Day 2:
Half day City and Table Mountain tour Situated below Table Mountain, Devil's Peak and Lion's Head, Cape Town offers a rich cultural and industrial heritage, grand splendour and an assurance of activity of excitement at the V&A Waterfront.
Including all the `must-sees` of any Cape Town day tour, this option is a geographical and cultural extravaganza, showing you Cape Town, from its historical beginnings to the dazzling modern shopping malls of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
The tour commences with a tour of Table Mountain (weather permitting; cable car fee not included). In the city itself, we visit the Company Gardens, the S.A. Museum, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant and arty flea market, Greenmarket Square. We take a trip through the picturesque Bo-Kaap.
Day 3 :
Full day Cape Point and Peninsula tour This is an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages are to be seen along the way.
The Cape Peninsula is one of the world`s most scenic areas and stretches from the City centre to Cape Point.
Tour commences at 8 :30. We travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach.
Optional: Seal Island boat trip (seasonal) (not incl. in cost). On through Chapman`s Peak , one of the world`s most breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks.
Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
After lunch at a nearby restaurant (not incl. in cost), we go on to historic Simon's Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. The tour ends at ± 17:30 after a visit to the well-known Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Day 4:
Safari This morning you will be collected from your hotel and drive through to your safari lodge at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. Transfer time is approximately 3 hours. You will arrive at the lodge in time for you to freshen up before afternoon tea and your first evening safari.
Your afternoon game drive departs around 4.30 and extends into the evening to view seldom seen nocturnal species by torchlight. You will return to the lodge early evening for dinner. The next day begins early with your morning game drive followed by breakfast.
3 Nights at Dwyka Tented Lodge (luxury tent) on a full board basis including high tea, game drives, guided walks, tea, coffee, water, game drive beverages, tourism levy, VAT (all other beverages are excluded and can be settled upon departure)
Day 5 & 7:
Kruger Safari You will be collected from your hotel in Cape Town and transferred by road to Cape Town airport for your direct flight to the Kruger area. Flight: Cape Town - Kruger Mpumalanga 09h15 – 11h50 You will be met on arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga airport and transferred by road to Monwana Game Lodge.
You will arrive at the lodge in time for you to freshen up before afternoon tea and your first evening safari. Your afternoon game drive departs around 4.30 and extends into the evening to view seldom seen nocturnal species by torchlight. You will return to the lodge early evening for dinner.
The next day begins early with your morning game drive followed by breakfast.
3 Nights Monwana Game Lodge (suite) on a full board basis including 2 game drives daily
Day 8:
Depart Today's ends with your last morning game drive followed by breakfast. You will then depart by road to Hoedspruit airport for your flight to Johannesburg (OR Tambo) Flight: Hoedspruit – Johannesburg 12h00 – 13h00.
